Worship is our joyful response to all that God is and all that he has done for us. Worship is desired and demanded by the Lord and for us as believers in Jesus Christ, worship is the most natural expression of our faith. At the heart of our worship is a deep desire to joyfully glorify God.
Our 11 o’clock service on a Sunday morning is fairly traditional with well-known hymns as well as some more contemporary praise songs. The children are in the congregation for the first twenty minutes before they leave to join the creche and Discoverers. The preaching is biblical and expository with a relevant message for God’s people today.
Our 6.30 service on a Sunday evening is more intimate in nature and less formal in style with the praise being more contemporary than traditional. Again the preaching is biblical and expository with a relevant message for God’s people today.
Our 12 o’clock service on a Wednesday is a half hour of worship that is relaxed, informal and dementia friendly, therefore suitable for everyone. A light lunch is provided in the hall afterwards giving us the opportunity for fellowship.
Holy Communion is celebrated four times a year at our Sunday services on the second Sundays of March, June, September and December. A preparatory service is held on the morning of the preceding Sunday and a prayer meeting on the Saturday evening before we celebrate the sacrament.
